Small Cell Forum and ETSI stage fourth LTE Plugfest – ETSI

The Small Cell Forum and ETSI are hosting a two-week Plugfest in Naples focused on validating Self-Organizing Network (SON) capabilities for small cells within heterogeneous network environments. TIM is facilitating the event by allowing participating companies to connect their small cells to its network for interoperability and interference testing. This fourth exclusive LTE test event aims to help the industry prepare tools for operators densifying networks to improve coverage, capacity, and services for both indoor and outdoor use. Attendance is free for registered members of either organization, with options for both remote testing and collaborative work in the labs.
