Keysight makes a significant hardware donation to University of Oulu’s 6G research

Keysight has donated a high-performance waveform generator and previously provided a vector signal analyzer to the University of Oulu to support its 6G research, enabling radio frequency measurements up to 330 GHz with baseband bandwidths of 65 GHz. This world-class instrumentation allows researchers to characterize broadband signals far wider than current 5G systems, facilitating prototype verification and advanced testing essential for industrial deployment in the early 2030s. The partnership, which includes annual knowledge exchange at Keysight’s headquarters, has established one of Europe’s leading academic laboratories for digital radio frequency signals and millimeter-wave research.
