The hybrid conference in Sophia Antipolis brought together over 200 onsite and 2000 online attendees to discuss the future of European cybersecurity standardization and the implementation of new EU legislation. Four panels addressed key topics including the evolution of standardization frameworks, challenges posed by emerging regulatory requirements, standards for digital products, and the security of supply chains. Speakers from major organizations such as ETSI, CENELEC, ENISA, and the European Commission’s DG CONNECT highlighted ongoing work to ensure effective compliance with the evolving legal landscape. The event emphasized the need for coordinated efforts among policymakers, industry, and research bodies to address cybersecurity supply chain risks and product security mandates.
