ETSI SDG OSL makes publicly available its 2024Q2 Release – ETSI

OpenSlice 2024Q2 introduces native Kubernetes support, enabling the deployment of Custom Resources and HELM-based services alongside Docker Compose options. The release features enhanced NFVO primitives with automatic extraction and a dedicated UI for seamless execution, while revising service characteristics to better isolate customer and resource-facing aspects. Robustness and performance have been improved through bug fixes, extended code testing, and automated validation pipelines. The development team acknowledges community feedback from Release 0 and invites users to the upcoming OSL#1 Hackfest in Sophia Antipolis for hands-on experience with the new software.
