The Quantum Nanophotonics Group at NIST is developing advanced metrological devices and tools for various quantum technologies. Their work focuses on creating integrated photonic devices, quantum transducers, and superconducting optoelectronic single-photon synapses for neuromorphic computing. These devices are designed using nanophotonic device design and modeling, combined with complex micro-and nano-fabrication techniques. The group’s work is closely related to the Faint Photonics Group’s research.
