The Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) has launched its seventh call for proposals in 2026, allocating €116 million to fund 20 new projects focused on microelectronics and 6G research. This initiative builds on the 2026-2027 Work Programme and includes a joint collaboration with the European Space Agency to integrate satellite networks into future 6G systems. The funding aims to secure Europe’s technological leadership by advancing experimental scope, lab validation, and real-world testing of next-generation connectivity solutions.
