ETSI has released OpenCAPIF version 2.0.0, featuring a new Software Development Kit (SDK) that simplifies integration by providing basic API invoker and exposer logic for developers. The release includes an OpenCAPIF Sandbox environment for testing functions against the new standard, along with updated scripts designed to streamline deployment in Kubernetes setups. These tools were validated during the first OpenCAPIF Hackfest, which engaged over 50 developers in November 2024, and all related materials are available via the project wiki.
