The 6G4Society project is conducting a citizen survey across Europe to gather public insights on current 5G experiences and expectations for future 6G technology. Since launching in April 2024, the multilingual questionnaire has received over 550 responses to help align next-generation connectivity with societal needs and environmental values. The collected data will guide EU policymakers and technology providers in developing inclusive, sustainable communication infrastructures that prioritize quality of life over mere speed. This initiative aims to ensure that the evolution of 6G networks is ethical and widely accepted by embedding sociological perspectives into technical development.
