ETSI and OASIS extend strategic partnership on standards – ETSI

OASIS and ETSI have extended their strategic partnership for three more years, expanding their collaboration to include emergency interoperability and smart grid data standards alongside their existing work on electronic signatures and authenticated email. This agreement builds on their joint efforts to align OASIS standards, such as the Common Alerting Protocol, with ETSI’s emergency communications specifications to improve global information society solutions. The renewed partnership aims to leverage ETSI’s testing expertise and OASIS’s open standard development to address market-aware challenges in cloud computing, security, and sustainability. Both organizations view this extension as a vital step toward fostering cross-industry cooperation and delivering robust technical solutions for the future.
