Stakeholders agree that more Europeans should be given opportunities to learn about standards and standardization – ETSI

A conference in Brussels organized by CEN, CENELEC, and ETSI concluded that Europe must urgently improve awareness and education regarding standardization to remain competitive with Asian counterparts. Participants agreed on the critical need for new educational materials and curricula that explain the benefits of standards to businesses and society, particularly within higher education and professional training. To address this, the three organizations are developing a joint strategy to build on existing practices and foster new initiatives with stakeholders. This effort aims to equip the current and future workforce with the knowledge of standards necessary to drive innovation and economic recovery.
