ETSI elects Peter Statev (UEAPME) as new General Assembly Vice Chair – ETSI

Mr. Peter Statev, a Bulgarian ICT entrepreneur and former chair of Smartcom Bulgaria AD, has been appointed to the managing board of the Bulgarian Cluster for Information and Communication Technologies. He stated that his role will focus on representing the interests of European SMEs and ICT entrepreneurs within ETSI to foster interoperability and standards that support business growth. Statev, who holds a master’s degree in telecommunications from the Technical University in Sofia, is also a member of PIN-SME, an association dedicated to the ICT sector. His appointment aims to strengthen the positive dialogue between small and medium-sized enterprises and large industry players in the European telecommunications landscape.
