ETSI Test Description Language launched at UCAAT conference – ETSI

The third ETSI User Conference on Advanced Automated Testing (UCAAT 2015) introduces Test Description Language (TDL), a new specification designed to bridge the gap between high-level test purposes and complex TTCN-3 executable code. This next-generation language leverages model-based software engineering to improve test quality, streamline development, and facilitate easier review by non-experts. To accelerate industry adoption, the ETSI Methods for Testing and Specification committee is developing a reference implementation and Open Source tool support, with a public preview scheduled for release in the first half of 2016.
