ETSI Open Source MANO announces Release THREE – ETSI

ETSI OSM has finalized Release THREE of its open source Management and Orchestration stack, introducing role-based access control and project support to enhance security and collaborative workflows for production environments. The release adds new service assurance and monitoring capabilities that allow the orchestrator to react to VNF events in a technology-agnostic manner, alongside features like anti-affinity rules and explicit port ordering to improve deployment resiliency. These enhancements focus on scalability and performance to accelerate NFV deployment plans without requiring changes to existing infrastructure architectures. The community has grown to 83 member organizations, with the next major onboarding hackfest scheduled for the ETSI NFV Plugtests event in January 2018.
