A new ETSI group, Securing AI, was established to address ethical challenges in algorithm development, particularly within healthcare applications. While 52% of stakeholders identified green transformation as a key challenge, 76% expressed confidence that standards will accelerate energy-efficient IoT and edge solutions, though success depends on other factors. The event also featured tutorials on building ontologies and discussions on horizontal ETSI standards for vertical business sectors.
