ETSI is hosting Security Week 2016 in Sophia Antipolis, France, from June 13 to 17 to address the growing security and privacy challenges of the mainstream Internet of Things. The event features a three-day IoT Security workshop focusing on technical and policy implications across automotive, health, and smart city domains, alongside an AIOTI workshop on June 16. Additionally, the ETSI Technical Committee CYBER will hold a plenary meeting open to non-members to provide transparency into its standardization processes. The conference aims to promote “security by default” in IoT standards through expert panels, demonstrations, and discussions on emerging threats from low-cost connected devices.
