The SUNRISE-6G project establishes a pan-European experimental infrastructure to support 6G development through a federated network of platforms that integrates private and public resources. The initiative focuses on implementing new 6G enablers such as joint communication and sensing, cell-free architectures, and radio intelligent surfaces alongside a scalable, 3GPP-compliant federation solution. A unified Tenant Web Portal provides a single entry point for experimenters to access a shared catalogue of tools and execute converged Testing as a Service workflows. The project also deploys a federated AI plane aligned with MLOPS paradigms to facilitate collaborative research and offers a common experimentation plane for standardized testing across heterogeneous European devices.
