The SNS JU Call 3 selected 16 projects involving 301 beneficiaries from 25 countries to advance next-generation network infrastructure with requested grants totaling €863 million. Stream B focuses on revolutionary and evolutionary wireless technologies for 6G and IoT, targeting low to medium technology readiness levels to deliver innovative solutions for real-life networks. Stream C, led by the X-TREME 6G project, concentrates on integrating microelectronics and photonics into experimental 6G infrastructures to consolidate SNS partnerships. Stream D initiates large-scale trials and pilots with vertical sectors, aiming to validate 6G functionalities and sustainability while gradually incorporating advanced technologies developed in previous phases.
