The University of Oulu is recruiting nine postdoctoral researchers for three-year positions running from 2023 to 2025 under the Academy of Finland’s Profi6 research programme. The recruitment targets three specific profile fields: Biodiverse Anthropocenes, which focuses on Arctic biodiversity and socio-environmental relations; Fibrobesity, which investigates obesity-related fibrotic pathologies; and 6GESS, which aims to establish a scientific basis for a data-driven, hyper-connected society using 6G technology. While the Biodiverse Anthropocenes and Fibrobesity calls have a deadline of September 20, 2022, the three positions for the 6G-enabled sustainable society programme are scheduled to open later in the autumn. These interdisciplinary roles are designed to strengthen the university’s research capacity across environmental science, medical pathology, and advanced telecommunications.
