CEN, CENELEC, ETSI, the European Commission and EFTA organize third Indo-European conference on standards and emerging technology – ETSI

The third Indo-European conference on Standards and Emerging Technologies was held in New Delhi, bringing together technical experts from European bodies CEN, CENELEC, and ETSI alongside Indian stakeholders to discuss ICT, automotive, and smart energy sectors. The event highlighted the SESEI project’s role in promoting European standardization visibility, facilitating market access for EU exports, and reducing technical barriers to trade between the regions. Key agenda items included M2M and IoT technologies for smart cities, cybersecurity, smart grid infrastructure, and e-mobility initiatives under the “Make in India” framework. Participants emphasized that global standards are essential for interoperable products and that the ongoing cooperation aims to boost innovation and competitiveness for both industries.
