ETSI Open Source MANO announces Release FOUR, moving faster than ever – ETSI

ETSI has released OSM Release FOUR, the first open source group to incorporate ETSI NFV APIs, featuring a new northbound interface aligned with SOL005 and a cloud-native architecture that reduces RAM consumption by up to 75%. This version introduces a graphical user interface, enhanced monitoring with closed-loop capabilities via a new Policy Manager, and improved networking logic supporting IP profiles and service function chaining. The release also enables native management of Physical Network Functions and hybrid components to facilitate true end-to-end service orchestration across virtual and physical domains. Since the previous release, seventeen new members including Amazon Web Services have joined the community to support this production-quality MANO stack.
