The AI Summit in Sophia Antipolis gathered nearly 200 participants to discuss the evolution of AI hardware, algorithms, and applications across sectors like telecommunications, healthcare, and Industry 4.0. Speakers emphasized the need to demystify technical concepts and highlighted the European Commission’s initiatives to foster a trustworthy AI ecosystem that augments human capabilities rather than replacing them. Key discussions focused on implementing AI in telecom systems while maintaining human oversight to address data bias, ensure transparency, and protect consumer privacy. The event concluded that standardization of interfaces and the development of certification processes are essential to guarantee interoperability and enable adaptive governance for future AI deployments.
