ETSI extends co-operation with ITU – ETSI

ETSI and the ITU have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding to establish a common framework for future cooperation in telecommunications and ICT standardization. This agreement aims to improve information exchange, facilitate the sharing of draft documents, and ensure mutual referencing of specifications to prevent conflicting standards and reduce industry costs. The partnership will deepen collaboration on shared technical interests, such as radiocommunications regulation, and expand joint efforts on the environmental impact and sustainability of ICT under the Green Agenda. Both organizations emphasize that this extended relationship will ensure ITU standards reflect the latest European innovations while maintaining global interoperability.
