ETSI has released a free textbook and slide deck written by six experts to address the lack of formal standardization education in ICT and related fields. The modular materials cover essential topics including standardization basics, the standards ecosystem, innovation, strategy, intellectual property rights, and economic benefits. Designed for third-level students in science, engineering, business, and law, the resources are currently being trialed in universities and are available for download with a license allowing lecturers to adapt the slides. Printed copies of the textbook will soon be available for purchase to further support academic programs.
