The Telecommunications Standards Development Society, India (TSDSI) has signed a formal cooperation agreement with ETSI, elevating their relationship to full membership in the Global Standards Collaboration (GSC) initiative. This partnership aligns both organizations’ IPR policies and grants TSDSI the right to adopt high-quality ETSI standards to support India’s Make in India and Digital India initiatives. Collaboration will focus on key technical areas including M2M, IoT, and energy efficiency, while a seconded European Standardization Expert in India works to promote EU-EFTA-India cooperation on standards and related policies.
