CEPT and ETSI have renewed their strategic memorandum of understanding to foster closer coordination and facilitate information exchange for advancing a unified European telecommunications market. This agreement enables the sharing of meeting facilities and resources, benefiting regulators across 46 CEPT Member States and over 900 ETSI members while ensuring alignment with EU legislation and international obligations. The partnership reinforces the consistency between technical standards and regulatory frameworks, allowing ETSI’s spectrum sharing studies to directly inform CEPT’s Electronic Communications Committee initiatives. By coordinating their efforts, both organizations aim to ensure the timely development of standards that support efficient spectrum provision and reliable communications systems for European citizens.
