ETSI demonstrates latest OSM Release SIX – Gain hands-on experience at the ETSI OSM Hackfest – ETSI

ETSI OSM Release SIX introduces extended capabilities for network service operations, including support for edge platforms to enable end-to-end 5G slice orchestration from the edge to the core. The release enhances the Service Assurance framework to control a wider set of events and provides fine-grained operational control per role with improved real-time feedback for operators. New users will gain hands-on experience through OSM Remote Labs covering installation, configuration, and advanced features like closed-loop operation, while developers can test new functionalities on the network. The ecosystem continues to expand with 20 new member organizations joining since Release FIVE, and a dedicated 5G Day will explore use cases such as virtual reality and vehicular networks.
