The Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking has launched its sixth call for proposals, allocating €22 million in EU funding to advance Beyond 5G and 6G technologies through Streams B, C, and CSA. This call, which closed on April 29, 2026, focuses on strengthening Europe’s leadership in next-generation wireless systems. Meanwhile, the seventh call targeting Front End Modules (FEM) for 6G radio systems has opened with a €14 million budget and a submission deadline of September 3, 2026. Both initiatives are part of the SNS JU R&I Work Programme 2026 and are supported by dedicated info days and brokerage platforms to facilitate partner finding.
