ETSI launches TeraFlowSDN Release 6 – ETSI

TeraFlowSDN Release 6 introduces policy-driven closed-loop automation and enhanced telemetry using P4 in-band monitoring to enable real-time network adaptation. The update features deeper IP–optical convergence with flexgrid lightpath support and a new IETF-aligned SIMAP connector that facilitates advanced Network Digital Twins. Security is strengthened through a programmable Firewall Agent for end-to-end connectivity, while energy-aware slice planning and ETSI OpenSlice integration further solidify its role in 6G transport management. These capabilities will be demonstrated at the upcoming SDG TFS#8 Plenary Meeting and highlighted during the Joint SDG Ecosystem Day.
