The TIP OOPT group has finalized a unified set of interfaces and data models known as MUST to standardize SDN management for transport networks. A new white paper details how the ETSI TeraFlowSDN open-source controller aligns with these mandatory requirements, highlighting improvements in version 2.1 regarding network controllability and management. This assessment aims to guide future feature development while providing feedback to the TIP community for potential requirement enhancements. The initiative seeks to foster greater interoperability and compliance with operator needs within open-source ecosystems to advance transport network infrastructure.
