The One6G Summit 2024 in Valencia brought together industry leaders and policymakers to discuss 6G’s transformative potential and its alignment with IMT2030 use cases. During Session 2, 6G4Society Project Coordinator Monique Calisti highlighted the project’s focus on embedding societal and environmental values into 6G development through a value-based, ethics-driven framework. The initiative aims to understand public acceptance factors and establish an EU consensus that aligns future wireless advancements with regulatory and sustainability goals. Ultimately, the summit reinforced the vision of 6G as a technology that enhances connectivity while driving environmental responsibility and societal progress.
