The workshop highlighted practical use cases for Quantum Key Distribution across national security, healthcare, critical infrastructure, and financial sectors, noting significant recent advances in security and network capabilities. Participants also discussed essential technologies such as hash functions for digital signatures and multivariate functions, with a focus on ETSI’s prominent role in standardizing these protocols through its Industry Specification Group.
