ETSI is hosting its first MEC Hackathon on September 18-19, 2018, in Berlin alongside the Edge Computing Congress, challenging developers to build in-vehicle infotainment applications using Virtual or Augmented Reality. Participants will leverage Multi-Access Edge Computing and networking to enhance performance and user experience, with technical infrastructure provided by Intel, Saguna, Huawei, and Viavi. The event welcomes companies and students to bring applications for on-site enhancement using MEC APIs, with registration open until July 10 and prizes sponsored by KNect365 and Vodafone.
