ETSI and India have strengthened their collaboration through the SESEI initiative to foster open, secure, and human-centric innovation in 5G, 6G, and related technologies. The program has established a local presence in New Delhi, facilitating direct engagement with Indian ministries and standards bodies like BIS and TSDSI to reduce technical trade barriers. Key achievements include the adoption of European standards for 3GPP, oneM2M, and IoT by Indian stakeholders, alongside over 160 participations in conferences promoting digital and clean technology alignment. This partnership continues to build a robust platform for policy dialogue and market access harmonization between the EU and India.
