ETSI and TTA renew co-operation agreement, strengthening digital partnership between EU and South Korea – ETSI

ETSI and the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) have renewed their cooperation agreement, establishing a reciprocal framework for adopting each other’s standards in key areas like cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and quantum-safe cryptography. This partnership, which has seen TTA adopt numerous ETSI standards since 2005, aligns with the recently concluded EU-Korea Digital Trade Agreement to foster shared innovation and security. The renewed collaboration also emphasizes joint efforts in education and engaging the next generation of standardization experts through initiatives like ETSI’s Education about Standardization programme.
