The Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) has unveiled its 2025 Top-10 Key Achievements, highlighting breakthrough innovations in 6G technology ranging from time-modulated arrays and holographic communications to sustainable, battery-free IoT sensors. These selected results, drawn from 188 submissions across 63 projects, demonstrate significant progress in experimental infrastructure, vertical solutions for ports and events, and standardized architectures for in-vehicle networks. Notable advancements include the 6G-SHINE concept for autonomous subnetworks and the definition of six sustainable use-case families by HEXA-X-II, all aimed at accelerating Europe’s leadership in next-generation connectivity. The initiative underscores the successful translation of public funding into tangible technological readiness and market-oriented solutions that address energy efficiency and industrial applications.
