The Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) has launched its 2025 Call for Proposals for Stream D, allocating €24 million in EU funding to support trials and pilots with vertical sectors. This initiative complements previous streams to bring total 2025 public investment to €128 million, focusing on validating 5G Advanced and 6G technologies in high-impact areas like manufacturing, media, transport, emergency services, and healthcare. The call aims to address specific adoption barriers by co-developing solutions that demonstrate viable business models for near-future commercial deployment. Proposals must be submitted by 18 September 2025, following an opening date of 18 June.
