The SNS Governing Board has progressively established its operational framework since December 2021, adopting key decisions on rules of procedure, financial regulations, and the initial Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda. Subsequent meetings formalized the launch of funding calls, approved annual work programmes and budgets, and established governance structures including a staff committee and anti-fraud strategies. In late 2025, the Board endorsed a European 3Cs ecosystem strategy and a standardization outline while approving the bi-annual work programme for 2026-2027 and selecting specific actions for funding under Horizon-JU-SNS calls. The Board also finalized the 5G Strategic Deployment Agenda for Connected and Automated Mobility and renewed its Stakeholders Group through updated selection criteria.
