ETSI and 5GAA driving interoperability as C-V2X tests hit a 94% success rate – ETSI

The recent event in Sophia Antipolis demonstrated the interoperability of C-ITS platforms with Public Key Infrastructures through advanced safety use cases like Collective Perception Messages and Vulnerable Road User protection. Vendors tested their On-Board Units, Roadside Units, and PKI implementations to validate compliance with established ITS standards. Additionally, a workshop by 5GAA explored the C-V2X ecosystem, focusing on ETSI ITS Release 2 standards, security considerations, and the integration of 5G-V2X with advanced and automated driving systems. Detailed results from the 4th ETSI C-V2X Plugtests, including equipment lists and test infrastructure, are available for download from the ETSI website.
