ETSI Technical Committee QT has elected Mark Pecen as Chair and four Vice Chairs to lead the new group dedicated to standardizing quantum technologies. The committee will host future meetings alongside other quantum-focused groups to ensure convergence and maximize expert participation. Initial work includes a Technical Report mapping the broader quantum ecosystem and the development of a Quantum Technologies Radar to assess emerging technologies. Additionally, a Technical Report on Implementation Guidelines for Quantum Random Number Generators is currently in the approval process to guide practical deployment.
